Here are some recommended tips to make sure that your contact lenses can keep up with you.

  1. Never share your contact lenses with friends, as bacteria and infection may spread this way.
  2. Don't share contact lens care products either.  Your lenses may not be compatible with other solutions, or your friends may have solutions that are not designed to disinfect and lubricate your lenses.  Keep several travel-size bottles of COMPLETE® Multi-Purpose Solution on hand so that you always have solution while on the go.
  3. Even after a long day, do not sleep with your contacts in, unless they are designed for continuous wear.  And even if you're tired, always clean and disinfect your lenses when you remove them.
  4. Always wash your hands before handling your contacts, and avoid hand soaps that have perfume or lotion, which can add a smeary residue to your lenses.
  5. Rinse your lens case after each use with Complete Multi-Purpose Solution and allow to air dry.  You should replace your contact lens case every one to three months to ensure that your contacts lenses stay clean.
